On April 9, the ceremony of the first stone of Centro de Documentación del Son Jarocho was held, in which we participated along to Paula Cortazar donating the sculpture “Amanecer No. 3” as a symbol of the beginning of the construction of the project, which seeks the promotion of music and sculpture of the state of Veracruz, by Natalia Lafourcarde as project manager. 

Escuela de Envejecer [School of aging], a series of works by Ana Gallardo, in which she proposes a reflection on the unfavorable image of a natural life process, such as aging. Throughout time, the artist has taken her aim through public workshops, where you learn to grow old. She is currently in Havana, Cuba developing the project in the House of the elderly Belén. Teaching and guiding different activities with women and men, she is a participant in the XIII Biennial of Havana, an edition that proposes public spaces of contemporary and community art.

On March 27, 2019 the Roberto Garza Sada Center for Art, Architecture and Design of the University of Monterrey inaugurated the collective exhibition Historia Natural [Natural History]. It exhibits works by our artist Paula Cortazar among others as Alejandro Cartagena, SANGREE and Tezontle.

We are proud to announce the participation of Ana Gallardo in this year’s edition of Art Paris 2019. During these days, Art Paris is setting out to explore Latin American Art from the 1960s to the present day, the work of Ana Gallardo is being presented along with more than 60 Latin American artists from different countries.

On April 7th, 2019 the exhibition Only a Shadow by Diego Berruecos, opened in the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA).⠀
